I had a wonderful experience getting my hair and make-up done for my wedding in October 2017 at Hotel Budir! My make-up and hair were exactly what I asked for and lasted through wind, rain and late-night dancing, and my Mom and sisters were also very happy with their hair/make-up as well. Service was quick and on-time, and it was great having the opportunity to get ready at the hotel.

We are from the UK & got married at Hótel Búðir on 26th October 2016. We were given Silfur hár og förðun as a possible local salon to contact to do bridal hair and makeup. Gudrun was the most lovely person to deal with from the very moment we made contact by messages and she totally put my mind at rest chatting to me about styles and what I would like to achieve on my wedding day for myself and my bridesmaids. We met up the day before the wedding in the friendly salon where we did a trial of my hair - Gudrun listened to my requests and the results were stunning - nothing was too much trouble. She arrived ultra early on my wedding day and efficiently got to work transforming us all in time for the ceremony. She is the most lovely person to work with and all my guests commented on how lovely my hair and makeup was. Gudrun, I cannot thank you enough for helping to make my day so special and you completely took the stress out of getting ready. My hair looked fantastic all day, it did not drop out at all and looked exactly the same when I went to bed as it had done in the church!!
